Pax3 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 HiI've followed every single instruction on the port forwarding guide, but the damn little light doesn't turn green. Here's what I did:1 - Set a static IP address as shown in the guide2 - Filled the blanks in the guide with the port used by uTorrent + my (recently configured static) IP address3 - Entered my router config page and set the values + save and everything else - reboot4 - Turned on uTorrent and still no green lightGRRRRRRRRRR!!!I'd appreciate any hint on solving this.Thx in advance
scraggadoo Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Is the static IP set outside the DHCP range? Also is there actually a torrent attempting to download, and are you confident it is a good one? If not, try an openoffice torrent, and you'll be able to see if there is definitely a problem somewhere.Take a look at for further tips: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992
Pax3 Posted June 7, 2007 Author Report Posted June 7, 2007 The torrent has a lot of seeds, that's not the problem. How can I see what's my DHCP range?
scraggadoo Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 It usually tells you if you go into your router setup / configuration page (look for DHCP something). Simply assign a static IP outside of this.
