koberulz
I've created a torrent, but am unable to seed it--downloaders receive a "no seeds or peers" error.I have previously succeeded in uploading 4 MB or so of a 4GB file, before that tracker went offline, I had to change, and can now no longer successfully seed.I can also seed torrents I have just downloaded with no problems, as well as having success with redownloading a torrent I'd already downloaded from a private tracker, so as to immediately seed (they'd gone offline, I'd deleted the torrent, but not the data). How can I fix this problem? Is it something at my end? The tracker? My ISP?
Ultima
How did you change trackers? By editing the torrent properties, or by creating a new torrent?
koberulz
I ended up creating a new torrent, because I had to password-protect the file, since the new tracker doesn't allow private groups.
Ultima
My best guess is that it's a tracker issue, if changing trackers b0rked it up.
koberulz
I've had success on one tracker out of three or four I've tried now...and other torrents on the same tracker work fine.
