csice Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Just recently, with the last day or so, I can't download anything all of a sudden, I get the message error: access denied for all torrents. The folders aren't even created in my directory and I don't have google or msn desktop.
Ultima Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Get Process Explorer from sysinternals.com, run it, File > Save, then post the contents of the saved process list in the .txt file here. What operating system are you running?

Utorrent either says Error: access denied or just Error.
Ultima Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 "Error:" means there was an error with the torrent before the last restart. Do you have the indexing service disabled in Start > Run > services.msc?
mickey_megabyte Posted July 8, 2007 Report Posted July 8, 2007 i had a similar problem - until i changed my default download directory......now it all works fine again!good luck
