ubaid88 Posted July 25, 2007 Report Share Posted July 25, 2007 I just have find out that my isp is using some type of a firewall to block ads and popups for all of the user. According to the other users of same isp this firewall reduces speed greatly of bittorrent traffic. And today I find out hows that possible due to some problem in isp, firewall was down for few hour (I found out that because I can see ads on site like www.thepiratebay.org). In that I experienced speed increase greatly. I usually get 10-15kpbs in bittorrent (even after apply settings and encryption). But on that time It went as high as 0.9mb/s.Please tell me some settings to overcome this firewall blockage by the isp. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
