On continueing unfinished downloads from different OS's

I have utorrent installed on XP and I can also use it for Linux (Ubuntu) using Wine. But how should I do the settings so that both of them will continue downloading the same torrents.

I tried a bunch of things using load torrent and so but then it renames my torrents to .loaded and then when I change the OS I have to redo the procedure.

This encapsulated install needs to be shared between both OSes, meaning you have to put it in some public location that both OSes can read/write from/to.

You also have to be sure that the drive/partition you're downloading to is mapped identically via Wine as it is mapped under Windows, and the download drive/partition also needs to be read/writable via both OSes.
