intel wireless 2200bg-port forwarding

call me dumb guys

but do we need port forwarding if we use wireless internet through intel wireless 2200bg

I had to forward ports for dlink router

now i cannot find the address interface/gateway for intel wireless 2200bg

neither do i have a username or password for that

also, am not even sure if its neccessary to forward ports

googled the whole world and i could find one answer

can someone help???? plz
