Veritas Posted September 1, 2007 Report Share Posted September 1, 2007 So, I've managed to endure torrent downloads of pitiful speeds (avg 5kB/s) for a week or two, but now I have a 8 GB file to download and I'm certainly not looking forward to waiting 3 weeks in order for it to finish. First of all, yes I've tried port forwarding, following instructions diligently, and I have no firewalls on my computer. The port forwarding just doesn't seem to be working at all. I've been trying several different ports (currently looking at 51705), but I'm still getting that accursed yellow icon.I'm using a Linksys BEFSR81 v3 router and my ISP is Bacavalley (one of those generic boondock ISPs).Any help on this would be very much appreciated.
