softrock
My ISP is now traffic shaping (throttling) bittorrent traffic as well as other p2p traffic. They're too aggressive - downloads and uploads are slow and there doesn't seem to be a way around it enabling both forced and regular Protocol Encryption in uTorrent. Will the new version (1.8) have a way around this kind of aggressive traffic shaping and what other options are available besides the ones above stated to get around my ISP's throttling using the current version of uTorrent? ajones81
For the test, a self-contained install (http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#How_can_I_share_my_torrents_between_user_profiles.3F) might help so that it doesn't interfere with your current stable install.
