I had 150kb/s share during lan playing over hamachi because utorrent cannot know am I in real LAN or ILAN.Well found my problem in some Windows Vista article and found I need to go bittorrent settings and enable limit local area network speed. (Yeah Hamachi creates Lan over intenert)No problem anymore but would be nice if utorrent can detect hamachi users and suggest to turn on limit local area network speed etc. I really like to play diablo 2 lod - Nezeramontias mod with my friends so sometimes i lagged out because my seed speed was too slow. sl06bhytmar Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ultima Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 Hamachi is working exactly as it was intended -- to create a virtual LAN. That µTorrent detects peers on the VPN is to be expected. There's already that option to limit local peers, as you've already found, so there's absolutely no reason for µTorrent to try and detect Hamachi.
