Whd13b Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 I am a fairly new user of utorrent and I just read in a forum that if you only download and not upload files, you will be labled a "leecher." I feel stupid, but I was totally unaware of the fact that I should be uploading files too. I thought by leaving them open to be seeded for a ratio over 1, that was enough. So, now I feel stupid and "leechy", so can someone please instruct me on how to "upload" files to share with others so I can start giving back.Thanks a bunch Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You are uploading while downloading, so thats working as intended. No need to upload any special/extra files.As long as your ratio is >1.000 you will never be considered a leecher. I'd like to be able to view if overall since I began with utorroent. Sometimes I delete files that have problems, wrong codecs etc., and I was wondering if you don't leave them up as well, if that hurts your overall "score."
