Carpe_Mofo Posted January 29, 2008 Report Share Posted January 29, 2008 Has anyone else with AT&T as there ISP had a recent problem of torrents downloading slowly? While downloads over browsers go at full speed I keep a steady maximum of 16 kilobytes a second. I download one torrent, it goes at sixteen, I download two, they each go at 8 or any other combination of numbers that can add up to 16. Is there a reason for this other than AT&T throttling my torrent downloads? If so I would really like to know, if someone else has experienced this with AT&T I intend to call the company to complain. Because I did have the good sense to ask them if my connection would be throttled in any way before I signed up and record the conversation.
