brightmal
I've set up my router to forward 48022, which is what I've set in the connections part of the options. However when I click on the annoying ! at the bottom of my utorrent window, I'm informed that the port set is 48023. I've restarted utorrent several times, but it doesn't seem to help. Ultima
What modem are you using? What router? What firewall?
brightmal
The router is a TPLINk, I don't recall the model. The OS is Win2k. I have set it up on another PC, which is now running XP Pro, and its working no trouble. Can I assume that different PCs need to listen to different ports? Ultima
Yes, different computers = different ports.Did you set a static IP up for your computer (outside of the router's DHCP range)? If not, you probably should, as some routers are fussy about that. Is the TP-Link also a modem?
brightmal
The TPlink is a router/modem. I think I'll stick with running uTorrent on just the one machine at present. My broadband connection is not very broad.
