stalkerensemble Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 I just got a trendnet 432brp router and the settings are a little different from the linksys i was using.Not only utorrent and limewire are only downloading at 40k max but also downloads from sites like cnet.com are only downloading at 40k.I played around with firewall settings and virtual server, i am not running a static ip.but not luck increasing speeds,but websites themselves dont seem slower.without router i download at 300k.Can someone help me please?It seems i have the problem now even without the router.is it possible that the router changed the MTU or some setting to slow me down when it was configured and installed?
