chipwrex
Hi, been offline for 1 month due to computer failure. Just yesterday I re-downloaded all my applications etc, including uTorrent. However, I learn that uTorrent has been purchased by bitTorrent? Now, when I want to download a movie, I apparently have to pay for it?????2 months ago, when I first downloaded uTorrent, I was asked to purchase the right to download unlimited movies and I opted for the most expensive, lifelong option (unlimited downloads for US$59).Why am I asked to pay per movie all of a sudden? Ultima
µTorrent is free. The BitTorrent Inc. buyout hasn't changed the way BitTorrent or µTorrent works. You can still go to the usual tracker indexing sites to download whatever's available. If you're referring to the bittorrent.com service, then yes, the content there is for-pay, but you don't have to get anything from there. If you're paying for some "subscription" for µTorrent... well, you're getting ripped off.
chipwrex
Thanx Ultima, that link helped :-)But apparently I HAVE been ripped off, since I DID pay (once) for downloading....
