filemaster
My apologies if this subject is already covered in another thread; I did a cursory scan of the Troubleshooting section and did not see it.I am a long-time uTorrent user, but recently had to reformat my HDD and reinstall my OS. Now, everything must be reloaded. I have attempted to download and install the most current stable version of uTorrent from the official website. Every time, when I try to run the install program, I get an error message that the utorrent.exe file cannot be run because it is not a valid Win32 application.I have tried to Google this error and found nothing helpful. I don't remember having any such problems when I installed uTorrent previously. Does anybody know what this is about and what steps I can take to correct the problem? Thanks in advance, and happy downloading!
Ultima
Can you check the hash for the executable? It should beSize: 219952 bytesMD5: CA3F4554910E40A0053626C1BB66C5FESHA1: 20B562489C373E392C360C1A6EE22ABF327460BACRC32: 12BB1415If not, then something is tampering with the file as it reaches your computer.
