I am not using a router, just plugged straight into my cable modem via ethernet. I am connected to the internet and can use programs like soulseek, but cannot use limewire or utorrent. messing w/ the preferences on utorrent and limewire, they say my ports arent forwarding properly. Every solution I have read about has to do with a router, so I am stumped. I've changed the firewall settings and even deactivated it for a try. nothing has worked. any ideas?
