littlemind
Wanted to seed a torrent file on my HD with an alias instead of the original file. But instead to begin seeding, utorrent started download the file again. Name and folder strukture is okay, worked fine with the original. So the problem is the alias. Is this problem familiar, a tracker problem or what i supose a problem with the size of the alias-file?Did not found anything about it, so Im not sure if this is really a utorrent(Mac) problem. So thanks for your help.
Nahvi
if i understand what you're saying correctly. then this will not work. utorrent has to be able to see the actual file. having a file sitting there pointing to the original one will not cover this. to my knowledge there is no torrent program that can do what you're saying. once utorrent is out of beta you should be able to tell it where the other file is manually, but i doubt even then it will recognize an alias.
