pavilion_alex Posted April 19, 2009 Report Share Posted April 19, 2009 i have downloaded and renamed and changed many times the names of the icons, to tray.ico or main.ico, following the directions from here http://utorrent.com/skins/guide but the tray icon and the upper left icon in the program don't change. although i managed to change all the other UI icons (tabs,toolbars...)what am i doing wrong? pavilion_alex Posted April 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 the logger only writes: [2009-04-20 23:20:57] IPv6 is installed, which i don't think this might be any problem. in order for these files to work, their format must end in *.ico? not just the rename option? and what software should i use to open and change the format? pavilion_alex Posted April 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 ive tried renaming the files but with no luck. every single file i downloaded from the skins page is all a *.bmp file, i never found a *.ico. with what program should i open those *.bmp files and change them to *.ico? Ultima Posted April 20, 2009 Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 Ouch. I think I see where you're having trouble... The server is serving .ico files as .bmp.
