applebee
Hey there,I just bought a macbook a moth ago...and before i used utorrent as my default downloader, however I now have one called acquisition, which the guy from the macstore installed for me..but i still want to use utorrent.I have read that there are bugs, but I will like to use it in the future when it's improved, so my question is how can i set utorrent as my default downloader?and how can I regulate the speed/seeders/lechers and so on?thanks a lot! bambam26
When you download the torrents form the sites, they will go to your download folder. If you open the folder and go inside of it. From here you can control+click on the file and choose open with, then choose more if it is not listed. Choose uTorrent from your applications folder and check the box always open with the application. This will fix the file association for you. geekyone
That will actually only set the association for that file. If you control-click (right click) the file, and go to get info (or select the file and click command(apple)-i), there is a tab that says "Open with:", expand that tab, and select uTorrent. If it is not in the list, you can select other and locate it.
