Is there a way to use make UT 2 beta appear as UT 1.85 to tracker?

Is there a way of making Utorrent V2 beta appear to a tracker as Utorrent V1.85??

I just would like to use the betas and not be banned fromprivate trackers.

Is there a way?

Not from µTorrent, though possible through a self-hosted proxy. We do not and will not support client masquerading, though, so asking how won't get you an answer here.
