Hey all,

read the posts did the search

Use utorrent at home runs sweet, Thanks to good programing on your side of things. And helpful posts

Sooo. here the question

got my self a 80Gb portable hardive USB self powered 8)

set up utorrent on it with the setting.dat file too plus the folders to keep everything nice and neat.

Tested on my home PC all works sweet but for the sucky 56k connection

Take it to Uni(school) with me. super fast cable connection there :) for legal DLs only

reset the the setting for the bandwith

check the port is forward ok. FAILS behind proxy

CHeck out that every thing looks like it goes through port 8080 (FTP,Browser,ECT)

http type connection format

did myip proxy check came up with:

IP 203.28.159.167 (proxy5-14.adl3.internode.on.net) from Australia

Set utorrent to use IP 203.28.159.167 on port 8080

start my torrent and I get:

PROXY ERROR: NO CONNECTION COULD BE MADE BECAUSE THE TARGET MACHINE ACTIVELY REFUSED IT

This message was on three completly diffrent trackers

Do you thing I am being refused because I am comming from a .gov building

(PeerGuardian would block it)

Or am I just doing something wrong

2nd Question if I am being refused because of .gov

Could I setup something with my website (unlimed size :) + T3 connection)

to hop from it. Or DL it to the website then retrive the file from the site later

Any help to point me in the right direction would be great.

PLEASE HELP, THANKS

"IP to report to tracker." tried failed :(

I get the same message.... I just tossed another router in my setup... so I have it set for a switch (have done this for a long time, just put it back today)... now I can't connect to ANY trackers, but I can pick up a FEW people from DHT.... so... what do I do? it shouldn't be my second router, since its a switch set up, no router things turned on... NAT port works... so I am kinda baffled/pissed
