86brigadoon
I'm planning on doing a system restore to free up some memory on my p.c., but I'm worried what it might do to the files I'm currently seeding. I'm pretty new to all of this, and I want to make sure I don't mess anything up (like my ratios) by doing the restore. I'd like to make sure I know what to do beforehand! Obviously, I'll move the files to an external HD befor the restore, but how do I start to reseed them after I re-download utorrent? Many thanks. moogly
Save the folder %appdata%\utorrent (.dat & .torrent files) before reinstalling your OS. Then copy this folder in your new OS.
werbz
I'm in a similar predicament... except I want to merge the torrents from my two usernames to just the one username. Is there any way of doing this without losing any torrents and their info (files, ratios etc.)?
