Helper application does not exist?

My computer got a fake anti-virus malware about a week ago, and I just got it back from being fixed. I got the malware when I was trying to download a corrupted file using BitTorrent. My computer has run smoothly since getting it back a couple days ago. (Not sure if this info is needed or not, but I thought it couldn't hurt)

I just downloaded utorrent as I had previously uninstalled BitTorrent right after I was infected. I tried downloading a file for the first time tonight and received this message:

"C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\Temp\[isoHunt] ***.torrent could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences."

I assumed this meant that utorrent was not set as the default app for torrent files and so I checked in the control panel. But it is set as the default app for torrent files. I feel like I'm missing something really simple here, but I'm not sure what to do now. Thanks for the help
