Must Have Feature

There should be a feature where users can select preferential access to their upload bandwidth for other users that have the highest share ratio. And if there aren't any preferred sharers in the peer cloud, then upload bandwidth could be distributed equally. I think levels would be the best way to do it.

Eg.

0.00-0.1...............10

0.1-0.2...............9

0.2-0.3...............8

0.3-0.5...............7

0.5-0.7...............6

0.7-1.0...............5

1.0-1.3...............4

1.3-1.75.............3

1.75-2.5.............2

It doesn't have to be like level 1 automatically supersedes all other peers and automatically gets as much bandwidth as his connection can take, but it could be percentage based. Ex. a Level 1 seeder vs a level 10 seeder (level 1 would get 92.5% of the upload bandwidth up to his max). Odds are the number 1 seeder will turn right around and start sharing once he is downloading, to maintain his higher level seeder status. The levels could even be displayed on the peer list, and become a point of pride with extra symbols by the ip address, ect.

It would encourage sharing and there isn't really any downside if newbies were given a grace period to get their share ratio up, and get to understand the dynamics of torrents.
