mps02 Posted August 3, 2010 Report Share Posted August 3, 2010 I am having real problems with force rechecking in Windows 7. I have just upgraded my PC and previously the rechecking ran fairly speedily under XP. It can now take all day to recheck a 700mb file. Is there a known problem with Windows & and rechecking? Or is there is workaround? I have unchecked the enable disk caching or disk read and disk writes, as I had read this helped. However it is just as slow! Any help would be much appreciated.
