Superstar11 Posted March 4, 2006 Report Share Posted March 4, 2006 hi, a friend of mine is having this problem..."Error (Unrecognized host (**.***.***.**) Please go to http://etcetc.org to sign-up or login)"(i masked the IP address using "*" obviously) he said he downloaded one torrent and it was ok but now he keeps getting "unrecognized host" -- someone said that this is because he signed up with one IP and then it (the IP) may have changed and the tracker system still has his OLD IP on record.i was going to sugges he does a DNS flush but i thought it might be stupid to suggest that seeing as i thought thats only to update domains and stuff.. any advice?
