IO Error:13 When Skipping Many Files

W7 x64, 2.13 ghz mobile c2d... storing files locally on internal SATA drive

I add a large torrent (over 7000 files), I select anywhere between 250-500 files, and then after downloading a few hundreds megs, I get the error, every time.

I've tried:

updating my client (currently running 2.0.4 21586)

disabling diskio.partfile

I'm open to any suggestions, I just want it to work.
