NoThatIsTeal
i've never made a torrent before, but i wanted to use it to move my itunes library from my old computer to my laptop at school. so, i created a torrent and set it to use utorrent as a tracker, to keep it private, and emailed the torrent to myself as an attachment; stupidly, didn't realize that my old computer uses dynamic IP. so, now i'm at school, and the torrent has died. i can find out the current ip address of my old computer by asking someone at my home to go to whatismyipaddress.com , can i get the torrent to work by adding that address as a peer manually? or do i have to make a new torrent? my old computer is windows, and my school computer is a mac.editscratch that; added new IP as a tracker and it worked. cracki
how about using a USB drive, or connecting the macbook to the old computer via ethernet and moving your stuff like that?
