Im hooked...but cant help thinking Im leaving myself open to viruses coming in that way.I have a folder..... completed torrents.... where all the completed torrents end upI right click on each new file that comes in and scan it with my avg virus scan to check things are okOn one or two Ive spotted virus and deleted them straight away.But Im wondering, is this enough ? is this keeping me safe ? Switeck Posted November 9, 2010 Report Share Posted November 9, 2010 Ask yourself why you're finding viruses in torrents...If many people were getting the same torrents with a virus, wouldn't someone report those torrents and remove them from a tracker?Or are you deleting torrent files based on false alarms?The last possibility is you already had viruses on your computer and they infected the torrent files after you downloaded them.
