Davesbeard Posted February 13, 2011 Report Share Posted February 13, 2011 Hi guys, been using torrenting programs for quite some time now and have never had any problems in the past but since moving to London and getting o2 broadband I seem to be having some issues.No matter how healthy the torrent and how many peers I'm connected to I only ever download at a decent speed from one or two peers at once. I will download from maybe 10 peers at once, one at 80kb/s another at 10kb/s and the rest at around 1kb/s. This seems odd and obviously not ideal. I've checked to see if O2 are throttling the downloads but it would seem not and my ports are forwarded correctly. Usually i download at 20-30kB/s from 10-20 peers and whenever i get higher download speed(100kB/s or more) from 1 or 2 peers they disappear within 10 seconds.
