bjd Posted February 19, 2011 Report Posted February 19, 2011 Hi,this is a pretty specific question. I have no router ports opened, but a torrent connection has been opened out of my network and the user is downloading a torrent. Can other clients in the Internet see this file within my network and download it?I can see that my Router is blocking incoming connections on port 6881, but are other peopleable to download the file over the existing connection? Thanks in advance BJD
Ultima Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Everything works. The user simply can't receive incoming connections, but that doesn't preclude outgoing connections from being established. Once established, connections are full duplex -- meaning communications will go both ways -- regardless of which end of the connection was the initiating end.
