I know it is customary to post my current setup when I have any problems, but I have a question before I resort to that.I am a UK user, on a 30mb Virgin connection. I am getting fairly poor speeds on all of my downloads (some of which have hundreds of seeds and peers and are on the 'Top 100' list of torrent sites). However, despite this, when I 'test' my connection using either OpenOffice or the Linux shareware, my connection is instantly maxed out to a 3mBs a second download speed.Bearing this in mind, will tinkering my settings actually DO anything? Am I simply being unlucky in my torrent swarm, or can I change things for the better?If the latter is true, I'll follow all the guides accordingly, then report back if I have any further problems.Many thanks in advance for any help or guidance offered.
