philman3906 Posted June 23, 2011 Report Share Posted June 23, 2011 Hi AllI am a complete newbie at this, but this is my issue.Starting using uTorrent a few weeks ago.After about a week I got a email via my ISP indicating that I had been detected as a person 'sharing' a particular movie on my home machine.They gave very detailed information eg. IP address, home phone number ADSL is linked to, etc...Obviously not seeding is not really an option as this is what it is all about, but how do I prevent this scrutiny from the outside?Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Regardsphilman Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
