uTorrent 3.0 crashes whilst streaming to vlc and vlc "auto-updates"

2) Process Explorer: didnt do it.

3) Crashdump: uTorrent 3.0-25460 32bit did not provide a crash dump in the default location

this is what happened when it crashed.

a) start streaming video in utorrent

vlc loads and decides it wants to update

c) allow update for vlc, it downloads new vlc installer

d) new vlc installer wants to kill currently-running process before installing new one

-utorrent is still trying (successfully) to stream video to vlc

e) vlc installer kills process and continues to install updated version

f) utorrent crashes

g) i cry

not sure if this is a problem with vlc or utorrent, but out of the two, utorrent is the only one that crashed, so i assume that it could be fixed.
