eovnu87435ds
Hey, I've been using uTorrent for a while on my PPC mac, with no problem. My ISP speeds are 35mbps up and down(FiOS), and have always seen superb download speeds on well-seeded torrents. Today, however, I added 6 new torrents today, with no settings change, and all of them are capping at 15kbps down, and only about 2kbps up. Even after being open for several hours, the speeds have never gone past that. To put numbers to words, I am downloading a torrent from a reputable tracking site, and it shows me as connected to 114 out of 365 seeds and 9 out of 217 peers. The other torrents are showing similar data. I do have a green connection light, and my port, 24993, is correctly forwarded. As for the rest of my information, I am running on a G4 Power Mac MDD, with 3/4GB ram, but the torrents are being saved to a Buffalo TeraStation NAS. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if any more information is needed, please let me know!
reader50
Try a torrent using a different client, see if the same speed caps apply. Your ISP may be capping you.
