Templeknight Posted September 27, 2011 Report Share Posted September 27, 2011 My problem is, every time I use Tunngle to create a VPN, uTorrent can't find the proxy anymore and says "Proxy connect error: offline". I'm using PuTTY for tunneling, which creates a local SOCKS5 proxy. Firefox and JDownloader are using the same proxy without problems. I can't get the connection back online, even after Tunngle is down. I deactivated all other network connections so far, but nothing changed. The only way to get a connection to the proxy again is to reboot, which is annoying. I'm guessing uTorrent switches to the Tunngle-network-connection, because it has a higher priority and of cause can't find the proxy on that network. Changing the priority order of the network connections also doesn't solve the problem. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
