ZombiesTMS Posted October 5, 2011 Report Share Posted October 5, 2011 So my old router died a bit ago and I went and got a new netgearN300 router from my local best buy.Ever since I've gotten it my torrents will not download at all. I've tried port forwarding several different ports and looking for hours online and I can't seem to get it to work at all.Halp? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Usually there is a small pin hole that you need to push an opened paperclip through, then apply power, wait 30 seconds, release, turn off paper, turn on power and you router is now reset. Those are the rough and nasty instructions.Then see how your torrents go. Unfortunately any new settings in your router will be lost..., but that will start you at a good base to diagnose. You SHOULD be able to download, even if you have not done the port forwarding. It's better if you do the port forwarding, but it's not mandatory to get it downloading.Post back when done Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
