letjahloveshinetru
I want to make sure that µTorrent is only connecting to peers when my VPN connection is active. However, sometimes my VPN connection will drop while µTorrent is active. I have seen ways to bind Vuze to a network connection but I don't see those options in µTorrent. Is there a way to do it at the OS level in OS X? Thanks.

Unwright
Hey guys, sorry to ruin your parade, but this isn't currently a feature allowed by Mac OS. Try as I might in the past to try to work around that limitation, there's no way to specifically do what you're asking. The closest thing to it is to switch to an OpenVPN and then use a UI client like Viscosity. It has an option in the scripting called "resolv-retry infinite", which will automatically reconnect when you're disconnected, assuming you're connected to your ISP. I use StrongVPN's OpenVPN option, and when paired with Viscosity, this solved my problems entirely.
