loninappleton Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 Since rolling over from a previous torrent client, I do not know where to see number of completions of a torrent.Where is this located? I have viewed the details lower screen but not seen the info which a prog like Azureus (which I used for many years) generates for completed downloads.
schnurlos Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 This you can see on some tracker pages, not in uTorrent. What's the need to know this? All seeds must have it, all peers try to get it. Stop.
loninappleton Posted February 19, 2012 Author Report Posted February 19, 2012 The need to know this is how many I get and should I keep the seed going.
schnurlos Posted February 19, 2012 Report Posted February 19, 2012 So if you are the only/last seed and there are peers out there - keep it running.I keep my torrents running as long as possible. My total ratio is 1.953 atm with a bandwith of 20:1 for down:up.
loninappleton Posted February 19, 2012 Author Report Posted February 19, 2012 I have had some going for years. On my index of choice I have a ratio of 5:1 or pretty close to that. On those long running seeds the completion rate may start up or slow down-- go dormant then come back.If I am seeding something I think is important, the number of completions gives personal satisfaction. It's like broadcasting.
