Rob Tarius Posted June 10, 2012 Report Share Posted June 10, 2012 Hi there, Can someone please answer the following questions as I'm having a little difficulty grasping the whole VPN/Proxy setup for downloading torrents.- If I connect to a VPN and then use uTorrent (as it comes with it's default settings) does the downloaded files travel through the VPN and my IP address is protected?- If I don't connect to a VPN then I need to setup a Proxy Server (in the Network tab under Preferences) in uTorrent in order to protect my IP address?If so can anyone recommend a good VPN and/or Proxy server that I can use, even one that I may have to pay for? And provide the settings in the Network Tab?Thank you in advance to anyone that can help me.Robps.
