incurablegeek
I am using uTorrent 3.1.3, the latest version, with FF 13.0.1 on Win 7 64 bit. Although I have used uTorrent for years and have had no problems, recently I see lots and lots of crashes ("program not responding") whenever I click on a downoadable torrent. I need to close uTorrrent and then reopen it, for sure having lost some of the newly loaded torrents in the process. My computer is always virus free - wired (not wireless) router, firewall, AV, and lots and lots of other "prophylactics".Is this a FF problem or what?? It never happened before.
hacksmash
I found I had this same problem on the same/similar setup. It is possible there is a bad or corrupted .torrent file in your Queue. As soon as Utorrent opens, STOP all the downloads.Start a single download and let it run for a while, see if the crash repeats.Repeat till you find the culprit, then remove it.Well ... that solved it for me anyways. good luck
