being a seeder and not a leacher

Hi, I'm new to this. I downloaded a lot of series and some music. I finished all my downloading in a timely manner. x 86GB. I have been seeding about 8-9 of these series for well over 2 weeks now and my ratio is only .277. I know I should continue until its 1/1, but how long is this going to take?:| I do believe it is slowing down my laptops performance.

Please advise
