Error: Invalid download state, try resuming

Good morning,

I have downloaded several torrents and tried opening them with utorrent. Every torrent stopps and the status shows Error: Invalid download state, try resuming" despite doing this, or deleting and redownloading, or finding a different torrent, I get the same status. I have turned off completely, my firewall and have not had any issues with the same settings before. The torrents I am downloading have significant seeders and are not excessively large (about 1-2gb).

Any assistance/thoughts?
