How do I get utorrent to work?

I've had utorrent for a while and it worked fine at home. However as soon as I came back to school, it refuses to work. The download bar says it is downloading when I try to download a torrent but it stays at 0.0% and says that there's 0 downspeed and 0 upspeed. Anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this?

Schools are putting blocks on Torrents, you need a Proxy.
