glorious
I've been running Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8.2) for about 2 weeks. I found it was frequently unstable with apps freezing, stalling when switching users, mounting drives, almost anything. Finder often gives me the beachball of death, and it never is able to relaunch, so a hard restart is usually required.I eventually realized that these problems almost exclusively occur when uTorrent (Version 1.7.6 (27691)) is running. Of course I don't know where the fault lies, but I'm pretty sure there is an association. If I just stay in one app it's usually OK, but any of the above actions are asking for trouble with uTorrent running.Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts?PS - no antivirus or firewall running
vadimt
Hi,Could you please provide steps of work with uTorrent which lead to your problems? Thanks!
glorious
The problem is intermittent, and occurs while uTorrent is running in the background, just downloading/uploading 4 or 5 files. So there is nothing I do with uTorrent that directly and immediately causes it, but my impression is the system is unstable and prone to terminal freeze/stall when uTorrent is running. Sorry, not an easy thing to pinpoint, I know.
