The files keep saying the have size "0 B" and I keep getting the status "downloading metadata".I'm using windows 7. I've tried turning off firewall and slackening security settings. I also tried Unchecking the two boxes about enabling port mapping in "connection". Please help me learn how to torrent. Also if you say something like "disable port mapping" I don't know what you mean, so please be specific (go to preferences--> connection-->uncheck the boxes that say...).Thank you. torrentnewb3 Posted December 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted December 19, 2012 Thanks for the suggestions. I've read a lot about it now, but still cannot resolve my issue. I read somewhere that I must allow the "metadata to populate", which I think means in the process of "adding a new torrent" (after clicking on a magnet link), I need to wait for it to finish "waiting for torrent information", before I click OK.
