smackythefrog Posted February 6, 2013 Report Share Posted February 6, 2013 I am able to download torrents or use magnet links and they load into uTorrent, but never begin downloading. I think that I was prompted to allow Utorrent to connect to the internet and I accidentally chose no and never ask me again. When I sign in as another user on my Mac the torrents open in uTorrent and download and seed no problem. How do I get the torrents going again? I tried deleting the app from my user's side and starting over, but it doesn't help because it still exists in a different user's screen. IS there a way to re-allow uTorrent to connect to the internet, or do I have to delete the app from every user on my Mac then reinstall the app.?Any help would be appreciated. oldybut Posted February 6, 2013 Report Share Posted February 6, 2013 Belongs in troubleshooting For OS 10.8.2System Preferences>> Security & Privacy>> Firewall tab (unlock) -- Firewall Options>> You can add uTorrent as allowing incoming connections.
