µTorrent Troubleshooting FAQ

Welcome to the µTorrent troubleshooting forum. We’re here to help. :cool:

Before asking for help, please check our existing FAQ and help resources. Also try searching the forums for similar threads.

When posting for troubleshooting assistance, make sure to include as much relevant information as you can about your current issue, including:

  • your operating system
  • your current version of µTorrent (including build number)
  • your ISP
  • any other software or connection settings you’re running that may interfere with µTorrent (including but not limited to: VPNs, proxies, firewalls, BTGuard and similar programs, and antivirus software)

Please note that this forum is focused on troubleshooting problems in the µTorrent application itself. Any issues with general BitTorrent connectivity and download speeds should be addressed in the Speed Problems forum. If you have a bug to report, please use our Bug Reports forum.
