vurlix Posted October 18, 2005 Report Share Posted October 18, 2005 Sparse files reduces the actual file size of your torrents while it is downloading (the final size is the same as the total size). Basically it lets you use more hard drive space during downloads, at the cost of higher file fragmentation. It's generally not a good idea to turn this on.Lazy mode allows people to bypass some restrictions imposed on bittorrent traffic by a few ISPs to hamper torrent seeding.
