taters Posted June 25, 2014 Report Share Posted June 25, 2014 Sorry, this has probably been posted multiple times already, but I could not find another post in the Mac section. When I first started using utorrent, I was living in a dorm in the UK, so the internet speeds were somewhat slower and my average download speed was about 100 kb/s. When I first came home to the US and used the broadband connection at my house, I was averaging 1 Mb/s. Suddenly, the average download speed at my house is around 9 kb/s, I hadn't changed any settings when this first started happening, I just tried to follow some directions and change a few things, but nothing has changed in terms of my download speed, still exactly the same. The availability is always between 9-15.0 and occasionally I'll get random bursts of 1 Mb/s-2 Mb/s, but then it goes right back to about 9 kb/s. What can I do? If there is enough availability and obviously my internet connection is capable of reaching higher speeds, what is going on? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
